A quiet moment after your destination wedding vows
Plan a few minutes together before returning to the people who came to celebrate you.
When you reach the end of the aisle, consider continuing to a quiet place together. With everyone gathered at a destination, it can be tempting to begin greeting guests immediately. Give yourselves a moment to realize you are married first.
Choose the place before the ceremony
Ask your planner and photographer where you can pause nearby without being swept into the guest flow. At a resort, beach, or estate, that may be a terrace or sheltered corner rather than a long walk. Arrange for photographs from a comfortable distance.
There is nothing you need to say or perform. Laugh, catch your breath, or simply hold each other. A few unhurried minutes become a memory of your own before you return to the celebration.
