Plan your own getting-ready route at the destination
Coordinate the beauty schedule and transport so you can begin your photographs without waiting for the whole group.
If your wedding party is getting ready together, discuss the order with the beauty team. In my book, I suggest having the bride ready first so someone else’s final touch-up does not hold up her photographs. Agree on an order that fits your actual day.
Connect the chair, the room, and the transport
At a destination, finishing hair and makeup may only be the beginning of the journey. Allow for dressing and reaching the portrait location. If a shuttle or car is involved, arrange a departure that does not depend on everyone else being finished.
Share the plan with your attendants, photographer, and planner. The purpose is not to separate you from the people you love, but to give your own preparations and portraits enough space before the group comes together.
