Let your destination wedding planner hold the schedule
Clear responsibility gives you more freedom to be part of your own celebration.
At a destination wedding, your attention should be with the people who made the journey. A planner helps hold together the details across venues, local teams, and several days of events, so you are not the person answering every practical question.
Agree on the handoffs
Clarify who coordinates each event, not just the ceremony and reception. Introduce that person to your photographer, share the current schedule, and agree on how changes are communicated. If the service is coordination rather than full planning, be clear about its scope.
Tell the team which decisions they can handle and which need you. When someone else is managing arrivals and timing, you have room to notice the people around you. Those relaxed, present moments are the ones I want to photograph.
