Confirm the whole weekend before you travel
Settle coverage, travel, additional events, and delivery while there is time to make clear decisions.
Before leaving for your destination, confirm the photography plan in writing: events, start and finish times, travel, team members, finished photographs, and books. A welcome dinner added late in planning should not remain an assumption.
Decide how changes will be handled
Know what an additional hour or event costs, who can approve it, and how your planner should reach the photographer. Follow the agreed payment schedule and check the practical arrival and departure arrangements with the team.
I don’t want you negotiating coverage while the reception is unfolding. If a toast moves later or an extra gathering appears, an agreed process gives everyone a way forward. Your attention belongs with each other and your guests.
