Even after several days together, the final minutes before the ceremony have a feeling of their own. I like to stay with my bride during those last 20 minutes, watching for a reassuring hand, a deep breath, or a laugh with someone she loves.
Coordinate access before the moment arrives
When I work with a second photographer, they cover the ceremony from the front while I remain behind the scenes and photograph the entrance from the back. At your destination, discuss the route, waiting space, and venue or officiant restrictions before the processional begins.
Ask your planner to leave a little breathing room after portraits and transport. These moments do not need a performance or another list of poses. The point is to be present when they happen, with a team whose positions are already understood.
